I was so excited to learn about your AFCH Lego drive because it has touched my family’s life directly. Last June, my 10 year old son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. During our stay at AFCH, he received a tie fighter Lego set from our child life specialist. He built the entire thing in one afternoon while the rest of us learned how to keep our child alive. The Lego set helped a scary, life-changing time be a little more joy-filled. Praise God that our son is healthy and thriving now! And thanks for your generosity to kids and families going through difficult medical situations.
