This is an example of God’s Grace:
23 years ago, I was introduced to an amazing company, Country Peddlers and Company of America, Inc., that I ended up joining. Lisa Brandau and Becky Wright had the vision to change lives and they did mine. 20 years ago at a Country Peddler Gathering, I met the person who would become my very best friend-Michelle Triebold. 5 years ago, my sister, Kelley, and I joined Michelle on a trip to Liberia, West Africa where we met Quita Bemah Kialain. With Quita, we visited her school and orphanage. At the school, we met so many beautiful children that had dreams of their futures. At the orphanage, my heart was forever changed when I met a cute little girl with no front teeth-our amazing Grace. Today, we are praising Him for bringing Grace Monique into our family and for leading us on a journey to help empower children with a good education in Liberia. We know that God has many more blessings to pour down on us to continue our vision in Liberia. Grace has so many dreams for a better future for all her friends she had to say goodbye to in her home country. We continue to praise God and serve as his hands, feet, and voice. We give thanks to all of you that joined us on this amazing journey. God is so good.
Sometimes it’s easier to just let things go. But what does that look like in a culture that holds up anger as a virtue?
